Sustainability is an important part of everyday life at our school. Each semester, our Year 6 Sustainability Leaders are voted in to take on a leadership role in caring for our environment. These students help manage our recycling systems and our Containers for Change program, encouraging students to dispose of waste correctly. Every classroom has clearly labelled, different‑coloured bins for containers for change, recycling, co‑mingled and landfill waste. By actively sorting our waste, students learn responsibility, environmental awareness and the importance of reducing what goes to landfill. Our sustainability program empowers students to make positive choices and be active contributors to a cleaner, greener school community.
